Discount Reasons Setup

Add a short description of what it’s about.

Step 1: Navigate to Discount Reasons

  1. Go to Maintenance > Enum
  1. Click on Add New button at the top of the page

Step 2: Configure Discount Reasons

  1. For Type: Select DiscountReason from the dropdown

Step 3: Enter Your Discount Details

⚠️
For your FIRST discount only: Enter 1 in the Value field
For ALL subsequent discounts: Leave the Value as 0
The system will automatically assign sequential values after the first one!

Field Breakdown:

Step 4: Test Applying Discounts to a Frame Only Order

  1. Select a Customer from your customer list
  1. Click Place an Order
  1. Select a Frame for the order
  1. Scroll to the bottom of the screen
  1. Click on the Discount button

  1. In the popup, under Discount Reasons, you’ll see all the discounts you added! 🎉
