You can set up prism charges using Add-Ons. This allows you to easily pick the correct prism range during checkout.
Step 1: Open Add-Ons
- Go to
Maintenance→Add-Ons.
- Click
+ Addto create a new add-on.
Step 2: Create Prism Options
Set up a few prism ranges as separate products so they’re easy to choose:
- Prism 1–3 Diopters
- Prism 4–6 Diopters
- Prism 7–10 Diopters
Type the name into the Product Name field.
Step 3: Assign Service Type and Range
- Select
Prismas theService Type.
- Enter the
Value Rangethat matches each prism option.
Step 4: Apply at Checkout
When checking out a patient:
- Look for the prism add-on.
- Select the option that matches the prescription.
- The correct fee will be added automatically.
