How to Set Up Sales Tax

1. Navigate to Tax Settings

• Go to Maintenance > Tax Category

2. Create Tax Categories

• Rx goods (prescription items)

• Plano (non-prescription items)

• Services

• Other product types as needed

3. Set Tax Rates

• Enter the correct percentage for each category

• Ensure rates align with current percentages in your region

• Click Save after setting each rate

• If unsure about tax rates, consult your CPA or bookkeeper

• Different rates may apply to prescription vs. non-prescription items
