Step-by-Step Process
1. Find the Customer
- Search for your customer and bring them up on the point of sale
2. Change Active Status
- Locate the active/inactive toggle
- Click to change the status:
- Blue = Active customer
- Gray = Inactive/deceased customer

Verifying Inactive Status
Check Customer Status
- Go to
Maintenance>Customers
- Search for the customer using their name in the top right search box
- Check the Active column - it will show
Falsefor inactive customers

What Happens When Customers Are Inactive
- Search Results: Inactive customers will not show up in regular searches
- Marketing Reports: They will not appear on marketing reports
- Communications: They will not receive any marketing communications
